CERI 2016 will be held at the National University of Ireland (NUI) Galway. NUI Galway ranks among the top 2% of Universities in the world. NUI Galway's prestigious history spans almost two centuries. The spectacular location of the campus boasts the unique landscape and culture of the west of Ireland. It's riverside campus is warm and welcoming, and at the same time filled with ambition. It is home to a diverse and vibrant community of staff and students who are dynamic, creative and highly driven.

The conference will be held at Engineering building, NUI Galway on the main campus. NUI Galway's Engineering Building, designed by Taylor Architects/RMJM, was opened in 2011. It was voted Ireland's favourite new building in 2012: it was the Public Choice in this year's RIAI Irish Architecture Awards 2012.

The world-class teaching and research facility ushered in a new era for Engineering at the University, which has an excellent reputation in Engineering education. The building has been designed to be a teaching tool in itself, with exposed construction techniques and an array of ecological building methods.

The four-storey with 400 rooms accommodate some 1,100 students and 110 staff. The 14,250 sqm building is supporting an emerging generation of engineers, engaged in a new wave of technologies, embracing innovation and entrepreneurship.
